DAIRY COMPETITION.
LONDON FIRM’S INTEREST. WEDDEL CUP REPLACED. Another cup for competition among dairy factory managers has been presented by W. Weddel and Company, Limited, of London, to replace the Weddel Cup, recently won outright by the Ngatea factory of the New Zealand Co-qperative Dairy Company, Limited, which attained the highest average points for three successive years. The cup had been competed for annually since 1907 and aroused keen interest' among the butter-pro-ducing factories throughout the Auckland Province. I . A. H. Turnbull arid Company, Limited, Auckland, has received advice from its principals, W. Weddel : and Company, Limited, stating that they are pleased to replace the Weddel Cup for competition among Auckland dairy factories. The cup is presented through the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association for annual competition. The factory obtaining the highest average export grade points for the season becomes bolder of the: cup, and should it retain it for three 'successive years wins it outright.
