WEDNESDAY’S RADIO

AT REGENT THEATRE

“UNCLE ALBERT’S” BIG EFFORT. With doors opening at 7.15 o’clock, to-morrow ■ night, . Regent Theatre should hold a record crowd for the big effort to raise £IOOO, being made by “Uncle Albert,” in aid of the Patriotic Fund.

Opening with a children’s session, at 7.30 p.m , which will be relayed by 3ZR, it will last till 8 p.m., when the main feature of the night will commence. A choice musical programme will be rendered and then invitations to subscribe to the fund will he invited and the donations received will be given over the air.

At 9 p.m., there will be a short break while radio announcements are given over the air and they will he then resumed from the theatre. Community singing will be led by Mr J. Duffy, of Greymouth. and a breezy entertainment in “Uncle Albert’s” best style should result in a great entertainment. It is requested that all children who are performing over the air shall be at the Theatre (back entrance) at 6.30 p m,
