The clothes drive in the Borough of Ijakitika, tho Oouijty of Westland, takes place next Saturday. Intending jdonors should note jsays a circular just issued from Wellington, that, in view of the urgency existing ) any clothing or other material they are prepared to hand over should be clean land in |good. repair—ottybrwise much valuable time will be wasted, and delay will occur at the various guild centres where voluntary assistance is being given in preparing the goods for dispatch overseas. Considerations of health alone require the utmost care to ensure that all clothing supplied is in perfect hygienic condition. Obviously the shipping space available for these is valuable and limited, hence only such clothing and footwear as are known to bo appropriate in every respect for the need's of refugees can be sent. A generous response to this appeal is confidently anticipated.
