The final day of the Wellington •Racing Club’s meeting was held in wet weather, to-day. The track was very heavy. The attendance was good. Results:—

Two and a-half lengths; two. Time 1.595. The totalisator turnover for the day was £90,629,'as against £82,551 for the corresponding day last year. BEAULIVRE WINS. DOOMBEEN CUP RECORD. (Australian Press Association). BRISBANE, July 14. : The Doombeen Cup resulted : Beaulivre (M. McGarten) 1; Gilltown (W. Cook) 2; Brownbread (Moore) 3. Eighteen started. Won .by three lengths; third half a length away. Time 2.145. Running to the front shortly after entering the straight, Beaulivre won with ease. The time was both a race and course record.

' MELBOURNE, July 14. The Grand National Steeplechase resulted: Blackford 1; Man oi Ayr 2; Brightollo 3. Won by half a length; three lengths. Time 6.5. This equalled the course record. July Handicap.—Astounding 1; Scarlet Toi 2; St. Fervent 3. Won by a length; same. Time 1.40. MOREFIELD PARK, SYDNEY, July 12. At.the Moorefield Park races, the Carlton Mile resulted.—Grand Boy 1; Brazen Lad 2; Hope 3. Won by half a head; same. Time 1.42. Moorefield Handicap.—Tickle 1; Brown Bomber 2; High Dividend 3.
