An inspector calling at a girls’ school at Twickenham, foUnd a foreign Baroness peeling potatoes in the kitchen. Alice Leitch was fined £2 for harbouring an alien. 'lt is alleged that she received foreign gir!s who paid jfor their education, and also did housework. The Chairman remarked, she is very lucky. We poor people in Englend cannot often get servants even when we are wiling to pay.
