After pursuit, the-Italians captured and shot a guerilla leader, Dedjazinatch Balcia, north of Gore. Balcia led the first attack on Addis Ababa when he lost a thousand men, and fled into the wilderness. He was a former manager of the Emperor Menelik’s harem.
