Isaac Shean, aged 56, with bis wife, entered a bar room for the fust time in their lives seeking a medicinal drink. They blundered into four armed invaders in the act of robbing the customers
Mistaking the performance for a practical joke, Shean attempted to force his way out. He was shot dead with a bullet in the head. This precipitated a melee in which the robbers, spattered bullets, wounded the proprietor in the leg, and escaped amid a shower of bottles and glasses.
