ALL BLACK CAPTAIN CHOSEN (Per Press Association, Copyright). WELLINGTON, July 10. J. E. Manchester, of Canterbury will captain the New Zealand Rugby team on the tour of Great Britain this year ,and be will have as his lieutenant C J. Oliver, another Canterbury representative. Tnj«, decision was made by the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night. Mr S- S- Dean, the chairman announced after the meeting, that the captain, vree-oaptain and certain members of the team who will he elected by the team immediately prior to, or after the arrival of the team in England, shall act as a Consultative Committee with the manager in all matters pertaining to the tour but in the matter of selection, the manager will consult with the committee, but he will have tne final decision in the selecting of the teams.
