The Indian Loan of £10,000,000, three per cent, maturing 1949-52, at 98, has been underwritten. The Treasury ha s authorised the immediate conversion issue of nearly £12,000,000 Indian six per cents, 1955-37, .repayable on October 15.
It is expected an Australian con version loan will follow.
