FUTURE GERMANY
ENVISAGED BY CHANCELLOR. (United Press Association —By Electric Teiegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, October 13. The Chancellor has envisaged the creation of a mighty, holy, German Empire, stretching from the Alps to Memel. He declared that Hindenburg would ensure this heritage of Bismarck, and again become the hope of the coming generations. “We desire to create a great nonparty State power, which shall not be thrown hither and thither as a shuttlecock. The political and social forces of Europe will continue critical as long as Germany is kept in subjection. We do not desire an armaments race or warlike adventure.”
