SIX DROWNED
LAUNCH OVERTURNS IN STORM.

VANCOUVER, October 18
Mr John Skinner, chief engineer of the Lake Shore Mine, and isix of his staff, including three girl stenographers, were drowned when their launch overturned in a sudden storm on Larder Lake, near Kirkland, Ontario. They were en route to a Thanksgiving supper given by the company.
