AUCKLAND v. OTAGO.
SECOND DAY'S PLAY. AUCKLAND, Jan: 2. The Plunket Shield match between Auckland and Otago was resumed today. In reply to Auckland's first innings score of 330, Otago made 222 (Worker 93, Shepherd 43). Auckland's second innings to-day produced 207 runs for four wickets (Dacre 64 not out, Burton 32 not out). Bowling for Auckland Smith- took eight wickets for 65 runs.
