CORRESPONDENCE.

* ( OUR'KAURI FORESTS. (To the Editor.) Sir,—May I through your columns call attention to the magnificent film now being screened at the Opera House? It is a film released by the New Zealand Government, and must be a revelation to all lovers of beautiful scenery, and to New Zealanders especially. Xo picture has ever thrilled me as this one did, and I came away thinking how we should sing "Te Deum Laudamus" in praise of God who has so richly endowed our dear country Ihe grandeur and beauty of these wonderful kauri trees is an inspiration, especially when one remembers that many of them were noble trees when the Saviour of the World was on earth. What a wonderful thought! Parents would be well advised to send their children to see this film. It came as a pleasant surprise in a good programme last night, and will in all probability be screened again to-night. The children would be greatly interested, too, in the wonderful machinery of the sawmills, and in the splendid SDecimens of manhood doing the work 'therein —I am, etc., WAHINE.
