Curtis, private secretary to His Excellency the Gover-nor-General: "I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 27th nit., and to say in reply that His Excellency is very pleased to extend his Patronage to the Exhibition Week for the Empire in. South Taranaki, and to wish it every success."
