SCULLING.

WOELD »S CHAMPIONSHIP

WAN6ANUI, April 12.

Keen interest is being taken in the race for the world's sculling championship fixed for 3.15 p.m. next Tuesday. Hadfield and Paddon have practically completed their training, though each will go on till the day before the race. Paddon had a spell one day last week, and Hafideld did likewise to-day.

Hadfield is in great form, and Paddon has benefited materially by the warm, weather recently experienced. He is doing very fine work, and if he goes to the post the Paddon of old he will give Hadfield the race of his life. The tide should be ideal for the race.
