SUPREME COURT ORDER.

(JBX TELEGUAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Sep. 14. At a meeting of clients and creditors of Hammond and Cracknell, solicitors, held on September 1-, 80 persons were present, Arthur Cracknell, the surviving partner, stated that the Brm's liabilities were £45,000, and the assets between £25,000 and £80,000. This statement was repeated to Mr Justice Adams at the Supreme Court to-day by David Kay, land agent, wheir giving evidence ra support of his petition to have Cracknell adjudicated a bankrupt. There was no appearance on behalf of the debtor. Kay deposed to a cheque he had received from the firm having been dishonoured and the issue of a writ and judgment a few hours before Hammond died. At the creditors' meeting Cracknell stated that he joined the firm in 1914. His Honor made an order adjudicating the debtor j bankrupt.
