The New York World's Tientsin correspondent learns that Japan has decided to return Shantung to China immediately and unconditionally. The decision is due to the change of Chinese policy.
The State Department says ihatt the Chines© and Japanese Embassies have not (been informed regarding the decision to return Shantung.
