At a meeting of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce held on Friday the half-holiday Question was discussed, Mr. P. E. Stainton reporting that preparations were well forward in the direction of petitioning the Borough Council to take a poll on the question in April, to give burgesses an opportunity ~of voting on. the Saturday and Thursday; issues.
