SURVIVORS RESCUED

(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS AMBOCIATTON.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 6.

Two natives, rescued from the reef near Apia on July 25, stated that they were survivors of the motor launch Lo3ine, which, with fifteen passengers, broke down and capsized after leaving Apia. Two white men among the paseengers were drowned. They wereH. J. JiMlery, Secretary to the Deputy iat Savaii, and Doctor Grevel, a prominent planter. When the natives left the upturned boat, one man, believed to be Ellery, was astride her. Grevel was accompanied in the launch by his two little daughters.
