NORTHERN DIVISION
Wellington Tramways played a game at New Plymouth yesterday against Stars, the visitors winning by 10 to 9 points. Clifton beat High School by 19 to 7. Stratford beat Tukapa by'll to 3.
The Patea v. Alton senior football match at Patea on Monday was remarkable chiefly for the large number of knock-outs during the game one unfortunately being serious; W. Neilson, of the Alton team, receiving a fractured skull through a collision with a Patea player. The match ended m favor of Patea by 6 to 3. The Press reports that Neilson is making good progress towards recovery.
