DESERTERS FIXED.

GREYMOUTH, Aug. 2. . At the Magistrate's Court this morning, three men named McKillop McDonald and White, who attempted to leave the Dominion by an overseas' steamer, were arrested as military deserters and fined £20 each. McDonald was fined an additional £5 for giving a false name. Another man named Kinnely, who was also arrested, is now in hospital, and was unable to appear.
