LONDON,*»May 14. Sir Douglas Haig reports: We successfully raided north-eastward of Roliecq, and repulsed with loss an enemy ■party westward of Merville. There was hostile artillery activity in the Somme -and Ancre sectors.
A wireless German official message eates: The enemy lost during April 281 aeroplanes, of which 122 fell behind outlines. We lost 123.—Aus.-N.Z. C.A. -and Reuter.
ROME, May 14. Official: Aeroplanes successfully bombarded the eneniy submarine base at -Cattaro. All our machines returned -safely, despite a Leavy barrage.—Aus./N.Z. C.A. and Reuter.
