PATRIOTIC TOURNAMENT

The tournament on the Hawera green yesterday in aid of the patriotic funds resulted in. a very enjoyable time being spent by those engaged. There were thirty-two jiom'inationsl—or four full rinks; five games were played, resulting in tihe following team winning, coming out without a loss: J. Were, McNiven, W. ißobertson (s.) Entries, and a few odd subscriptions, netted over £4 for the Sick and Wounded Fund.
