BOXING ASSOCIATION.
The committee is meeting with a good response to its efforts to arrange good matches, and the following have been definitely settled:- Plumb v Coombs, Clarry v. West, Willcocks v Donnelly. An effort is being made to match Hawkins and Steele, of New Plymouth, and Hurrell and Walker are likely $o meet again. Entries have been received from Ohakune and Midhirst for wrestling and boxing, and a team of athletes will be down from New Plymouth. A good match will be arranged for L. Wills, the local wrestler, who has done so well lately at various meetings. The programme of events for race nights will be most interesting.
