I Regarding a portion of the Education Board meeting report (published in another column, as abridged from the Wanganui Chronicle) the secretary of the Wanganui Education Board telegraphed to-day as follows-.—"Certain paragraphs in the Chronicle report were published in error and refer merely to appointments previously proposed by the Board and regarding which the vari- ( ous committees are being consulted. Such appointments are not made public until after consultation with the , committees and confirmation by the , \ Board, and in addition the names, as given, are in some cases incorrect."
