J • KelD forwarded his resignation as -owing to his private business taking up too much of his time, he could not do justice to both. Mr Goodson moved, and Mr Dunlop seconded, that Mr Bell's resignation be accepted with regret •and that a hearty and sincere vote of thanks from the society be accorded Mr Bell for his many years of service, Au- Bennett also snoke to the motion and complimented Mr Bell on his good work.
