EGMONT RACING CLUB.

A meeting of the committee of the Egmont Eating Club was held on Saturday evening, when there were present: Messrs R. H. Nolan (chairman), 3. W. Baker, J. Gray, A. -S. Tonks, R. Hicks, W. O. Williams, H. A. Foyster, A. W. Gillies, W. Adamson, G. H. Gibson, A. Good, J. Quin, and J. Crocker. A list of proposed racing dates »f various clubs for next season was submitted, and as the proposed date of theTe Kuiti meeting clashed with the Egniont Racing Club's summer meeting," it was decided to forward an objection in the usual manner.

An enquiry as to whether the club was prepared to let certain privileges for a term of five years was held over, to allow the incoming committee to deal with it.

A motion was proposed that £10 bo voted to the Trotting Club and £15 to the Hunt Club, as an amendment to which it was proposed that £15 be voted to the Hunt Club, and nothing to the Trotting Club, which latter body the proposer of the amendment considered had m effect been given a donation when allowed to use the Hawersi racecourse at, the low fee of £5.
