INFORMATION ASKED FOR.

(To the Editor .)

Sir, —By your kind permission, 1 would like to ask any Federation of Labor and Labor Unionists,- who may he readers of your paper, what the meaning of the word "victimisation" is. It is a word that I come across almost every day in some Labor trouble report or other. Also would they kindly tell me what they call the following: "Mr John Fuller has received a letter from his Waihi manager stating that the unionists had threatened to boycott the Waihi pictures if the pianist, the daughter of a non-unionist, were continued in hey employment. The lady was informed that her servkss would have to be dispensed with." I presume it is brotherly or sisterly lovt, for it seems such a very humane avd comradelike thing to do.
