Sir, —As the time is drawing near for the selection of the North Island team, I. would (being an old New Zealand representative) pick the following to catch the selector's eye: —Full-back: Kinvig (Wellington). Three-quarters: Stohr (Taranaki), Roberts (Taranaki), McGregor (Auckland). Five-eighths: Kainaia (Poverty Bay), McKenzie (Wellington).* Half: Roberts (Wellington). Wing forward: Colman (Taranaki). Forwards : Hookers, Cain (Taranaki) and Leahy (Wanganui;; supports, Downing (Hawke's Bay), Tamu (Taranaki); lock, Young (Taranaki); back row, Rangi Wilson (Wellirgton) and Bruce (Auckland).
