Ine Minister defended the endowment clauses of the Land Bill on the lines of previous Ministerial addresses. He foreshadowed a reduction of the number of Tailway works to b& undertaken, stating that not more than a million sterling should be hoxviowed annually, and this must be spent to the best advantage.
