The Daily Mail's correspondent at Lliassa mentions a serious prospect when the British retire of a faction light between the supporters of the fugitive Grand Lama and Tashi, the Lama of Shigatse. Possibly the Grand Lama, if victorious, will accept the British treaty, in which. case the words of the temporarily deposed Lama, inserted in the Am bans proclamation, will save the face of China.
