IMPORTANT ARREST.

NELSOX, January 5. A somewhat important arrest has been made at Motupiko in connection with a man calling himself Cripps, who is char-j-•ed with stealing £7 from his employer, aMr Drumrhona. After a long chase on the hills- a clever capture was effected at, the point of ,the revolver. It then transpired I ' that Cripps is a man named Madigan, against whom a warrant has been out since, 1892 for alleged theft of £36 from Hastings post office.
