ARRIVAL OF THE MONTROSE.

Auckland, August 19.

The troopship Montrose was moored in the Gulf last night, and entered port this morning. An inspection will last several hours. The vessel is flying a signal-that there is sickness on board. The pilot reports that the delay ia the trip down the coast was caused by a breakdown in the engine-room. No communication with the vessel is permitted.
