ANOTHER INSTANCE OF CHAR COAL SUFFOCATION.
Auckland, August 9. Two men, Alfred Bay, father and son) were found dead in the hold of a yacht, off the wharf, evidently due to charcoal suffocation. They came from, Tauranga Creek, where they resided, on Thursday last, with a cargo of charcoal. The yacht was observed to be still lying in the same plaoe, and sus-. picion was aroused. The hatches were -^ removed and the men found, "dead. * A can containing embers was found neap them. They evidently want $o Bleep thinking the ventilation sufficient.
