TE ROTI.
(from a correspondent.)
A dance was held here on the 13th instant, in aid of the Ping Pong Club, and was most successful, both financially and otherwise. The waltzing competition caused considerable interest, twelve couples gracing the floor. Miss E. Hughes and Mr McPhail, of Normanby, were awarded the prize. Mr J. Hall and Mr A. Jones were the judges. The music was supplied by Mr Wills, and extras were played by the Misses Gibson, Espagne, and Hughes. Mr A. Col man made an efficient M.C.
