The following are the names of the team selected to represent New Zealand at Bisley : — Rifleman George Hyde, Opaki Rifle Club, Masterton ; Rifleman Harry Hawthorne, Karori Rifle Club, Wellington; Rifleman William Loveday, Woodville Rifle Club, Woodville ; Band-Seigeant King, • Oamaru Garrison Band, Oamaru; Rifleman W. Ballinger, Petone Rifle Club, Petone ; Private John McGregor, Oamaru Rifle Volunteers, Oamaru ; Private W. H. Nelson, Woodville Rifles, Woodville ; Rifleman J. G. Wilson. Woodville Rifle Club, Woodville ; Private Head, Highland Rifles, Wellington ; Rifleman George Loveday, Woodville Rifle Club, Woodville ; Corporal Winslade, Wanganui Rifles, Wanganui.
.The other member of the team, Anderson of Kaitangata, is trying to arrange his business matters to get away.
The command of the team has beetrf^ offered to Lieutenant-Colonel Sommer 1 -, ville, but, owing to the illness of Mrs Sommerville, it is doubtful whether he will be able to accept,
