Feilding : — This was the largest sale we have had the pleasure of holding for some time past. Cattle came forward largely in excess of advertised numbers; in fact, we had (with kind permission] to yard a large number in Messrs Gorton and Sons' yards. The yarding of sheep was also large, and the attendance was good. The tone of the market was healthy, and we made almost a total clearance, fully maintaining last week's values.
Feilding sale : 18 months steer?, L 2 8s to L 3 ; 2 year steers, L 2 17s 6d to L 4 11s ; weaners, 17s to 29s Cd ; dairy heifers in oalf, L 2 12s 6d to L 3 18s 6d ; forward bullocks, L6toL 6 2s 6d ; fat cows, L 4 7s to L 5; 3 year steers, L 4 10s to L 5 2a 6d ; 2 tooth ewes, 7s 9d to 93 3d ; wethers, 6s 7d to 10s 3d ; fat ewes, 7s lid to 8s lid ; breeding, 6s 6d to 7a 9d ; lambs, culls, 2s 5d to 4s 4d ; lambs, good, 6s 6d to 7s 6d.
