Cattle: At Stratford, on Tuesday, the yards were very full, a splendid lot of big Bteers coming forward. Bidding for this class was not quite up to vendors' expectations, and several pens were passed in, some of which were placed afterwards at a slight reduction of reserves. All heifers and weaners were well competed for, and nearly all sold at the hammer. Weaners made 23s to 28s ; good calves, 30s to 40s ; 15 to 18 month sleera, L 3 to L 3 11s 6d ; two to two and a-half year do., L 4 3s to L 4 10s ; three to three and a-half year bul locks, L 4 15s to L 5 2s 6d ; empty heifers, L 2 10s 6d to L 3 63 ; heifers in calf, L 3 5s to L 3 Ids ; store cows, L2to L 3 103 forward do., L 3 15s to L 4.
