Hamilton, January 81. The body of Mr R. N. C. Tennent, drowned on Monday in the Waikato river, Hamilton, has been found.

Gisbobnk, January 81. John Fletcher, aged about 25, against whom charges of attempted murder and attempted suicide were pending, died at the hospital at nine to-night from the effects of oarbolio.

Through an explosion of gas in a boardinghouse at Invnrcargill on Thursday, one young woman was considerably scorched and another in a lesser degree.
