Some time ago Lord Banfurly was asked by the Government to consent to serve a second period of office as Governor. His Excellency ogreed to accept an extension of his term of office by one year, and the Secretary of State for the Colonies has aignffied His Majesty's approval. The commission under the extended period will expire in April, 1904.
