SIX-YEAR-OLD BOER BOY SHOOTS A SOLDIER.

London, January 24.
While the Dragoon Guards were skirmishing near Harrismith, a Boer boy, aged six, approaching suddenly, drew a revolver, and wounded a private mortally. Van Schelvigk and his two sons' were each sentenced to a year's imprisonment and fined £500 for concealing horses, ammunition, and grain at Norval's Pont.
