EIGHTH AND NINTH CONTINGENTS.
Wellington, January 25. The captains of squadrons of the Eight Contingent are : — North Island — Captains Cameron, Sommerville, Seddon, and Saxby; South Island— Captains Fook, Oolbeck, and Mont* gomery, and either Capt. Rhodes, M.H.8., or Lieut. Collett by promotion.
Capt. Jackson Palmer, M.H.R., has applied for a commission in the Ninth Contingent.
