Messrs Gorton 'and Son report : — The Hnnterville sale was largely attended. There was a good demand for fat cattle, and all changed hands at good priceß. All the sheep but one pen of hoggets changed hands. At Feilding we have to report a successful sale. All classes of cattle sold readily, especially fat cows and grown steers. We quote — Hunterville— Forward bullocks, L 6 103 ; fat cows, L 4 5s to L 6 10s ; springing cows, L 4; springing heifers, L 3 10s to L 4 10s ; empty heifers, L393t0 L 3 10s ; weaners, 20s; heifers in calf, L 3 ss. Forward wethers, 14s 6d ; ewes in lamb, 93 5d to los ; fat ewes, 13s 6d ; mixed hoggets, 12s 6d.
