BOERS DERAIL A TRAIN. Pbr Pbess Association. — By. Elkotrio Telegraph — Copyright. Keoeived Ootober 5, 1.10 a.m. London, October 4. The Boers at Pan Station derailed a train, and five Coldstream Guards were killed and 19 injured. BOER TREACHERY. Received October 5, 9 a.m. London, October 4. Sixty cavalry, escorting 22 wagons in the vicinity of Vryheid, were attacked by 140 Boers. Twelve escaped, and the Natal Volunteers are searching for the remainder. The Boers ambushed a police patrol of five near Ladybrand, and ordered " Hands up !" They then treacherously shot two, and wounded two others.
