Pke Pbbss Association.— By jSlbotbic Telegraph. — Copyright. Beoeived Ootober 5, 9.25 a.m. London, October 4. The following have been granted commissions in the Imperial Army: — Lieut. Clark, New South Wales Lancers, in 3rd Dragoon Guards ; Lieut. Darling, Royal Irish Regiment ; Lieut. Vernon, Royal Fusiliers ; Lieut. Gledhill, Lancashire Fusiliers. All the latter are Westralians. Dr. Bickersteth, Bishop of Exeter, has resigned on account of ill-health. The Times has published a splendid poem by Kipling on the birth of the Australian Commonwealth.
