HAWERA CRICKET CLUB.
The annual general meeting of the above club was held at the Egmont Hotel last nig'it. Present: Messrs White (chair), Wetenra, Page, Payne, Parkinson, But a, Goodson, Campbell, Pratt, Essen, and Caplen. Report and balance-sheet was read and adopted. The following officers were eleoted :— President, Mr White (re-elected) ; vice-presidents, Dr Westenra and Mr Caplen (re-elected ; Beoretary and treasurer, Mr Page. Captain to be eleoted on day of first match. General committee, Messrs Bayly, Pratt, Payne, Butts, and Parkinson, with exofficio members ; selection committee, captain and Mr Payne ; delegate, Mr G. T. Bayly (re-elected) ; auditors, Messrs Butts and Payne. Six boyß* tickets, carrying the privilege of membership, are to be issued to boya ot the publio school. Two or three new members were proposed. The usual vote of thanks closed the meeting.
