Pianos from £37 10s to £90. ■YTTE Import Direot Pianos and Organs VV by William Sames, established 1855. Reprint from the London and Provincial Musio Trades Beview, October 15, 1889 :— ** At the recent competition held in London by the Musical Trades Association of Great Britain, open to Pianoforte Manufacturers throughout the World, for an upright iron grand, the Instrument Manufactured by William Sames, Ltd., Birmingham and London, obtained the highest possible number of marks in nearly every one o£ the twenty-three particulars. A large number of manufacturers competed, both English and foreign, and it is satisfactory to know that the result is in favour of the British workman. The examination, which was conducted by about seven experts in Pianos, -was a severe one, and as no maker's name appeared on any of the Instruments, there is no doubt as to its fairness. William Sames. Ltd., were accordingly appointed makers to the Association, and received a large contract for a yearly supply of their Pianos." We hold CHAS. BEGG & CO.'S Agency. ' PIANOS by ORGANS by Brinsmead Storey and Clark Schiedmayer Sames Pull and Field Kimball Collard & Collard Estey Schwechten and others.
