The Dutch Government, in reply to the British representations regarding tbe seizure of tbe Costa Rica Packet, states that tbe question is still under consideration. Lord Kimberley has forwarded another communication insisting on an early deoision of the case. LONDON, June 26. Tbe National -Life Boat Association cf Great Britain has offered to supply New South Wales with lifeboats for the purpose of establiflbing a service in tbe colony. Lord Aberdeen will specially welcome tbe conference of delegates at Ottawa. Lord Jersey and tbe Australian delegates will reply. The Canadians want to limit tbe discussion to trade relations, cable and steamship services, and to exclude the Samoan question and Imperial defence. Sixty thousand Scotch miners bave struck. ST. PETERSBURG, Jnne 26. A mine bas been found near a church ' at Borki, which tbe Czar was expected to oonsecrate. At Weßtland stations all hands bave refused to sign the new shearing agreement. At Evesham4o were willing to sign and 60 against. MELBOURNE, June 25. The Victorian Trade Commissioners, who are travelling in the East, report that a large trade may be opened up with British Burmah in meat, bams, bacon, butter, and cheese. They are also of opinion that Singapore offers a good market for meat and butter.
