Beef ranged from 19s to 22s per iOOlbs, and steers averaged from £5 19s to £8 3s; cows £4> to £4,17s 6d. Sheep.— Wethers sold at from 10s to 17s 9d ; ewes, 9a to 15s; lambs, 5s 3d to 10s each.
