Auckland, May 26. Cattie.—Exceptionally good dairy cows maintained their value, but for inferior animals prices were in favor of the purchaser. Beef ranged from 19s to 22s per iOOlbs, and steers averaged from £5 19s to £8 3s; cows £4> to £4,17s 6d. Sheep.— Wethers sold at from 10s to 17s 9d ; ewes, 9a to 15s; lambs, 5s 3d to 10s each. Pigs were in short supply, and sold at from 2Jd to 3d per lb, live "weight.
