Johnsonvjxle, May 23, Jf&t cattle came forward in average numbers, an,d the quality was good, though the weight varied considerably. Light bullocks £7 5s to £7 12s 6d, others £7 15s to JBS 12s 6d, prime oxen £B 15s to £9 2s 6d. Sheep in moderate numbers. Strong demand existed, notwithstanding that suitable sorts were barely represented; almost the whole entries lacked quality . and condition. Medium wethers, 14s 6d; " indifferent, 12s 4d to 13s 4d; medium 'ewes, 12s; others, 9s 3d to 11s.
